Copyright

Directions:

  1. Watch the movie Copyright on BrainPop  

  2. Use your own words to define these terms from the movie

  3. Have your teacher proof read your answers

  4. Copy and paste the answers to your blog

    1. Title the post Copyright

    2. Select a Internet Safety Category

    3. Publish



  5. Find a header picture that you want on your blog and upload it.

    1. Search images using Creative Common Search, Free Digital Photos, or  Google Images Creative Commons

      1. Save Picture As…

      2. Save to Desktop

      3. Appearance - Header

      4. Browse, Upload, Save Changes





  6. Check your blog to see how it looks

  7. Make sure that you give credit to the artist/photographer

    1. Add a text widget containing the copyright information

      1. Copy the URL from where you got the image (NOT GOOGLE)

      2. Find out who is the artist/photographer

      3. Appearance -  Widgets

      4.  Drag Text Widget to the TOP of the Sidebar

      5.  Title it Header taken from

      6. Or if you are also using a background image: Header/Background taken from:





  8. Format the body of the Text box to show a name not a URL

    1. You need to write in HTML cod

      1. <a href="URL Address">Name of Website</a>

      2. Example:    <a href="http://www.google.com/imghp">Google Images</a

      3. Also include the artist/photographer’s name





  9. Comment on 3 other peoples’ blogs.
