Student Blogs

Students in grade 3-5 are creating their own e-portfolio blogs this week. They are very excited and are doing a great job.



Lesson One:

1. Login


2. Change password >Users>Your Profile


3. Change Header image >Appearance>Header


4. Change blog Title >Settings>General


5. Change or remove Tagline >Settings>General


6. Edit the About page >Pages>About

Lesson Two

1. Upload image Avatar or Scanned >Click the Add an Image next to Upload/Insert


2. Select Files
   
   
   
   1. Navigate to the saved location of the Image
   
   
   
   


3. Scroll down to Insert into Post


4. Delete Hello World (default post) from Posts


5. Add pages for these subjects
   
   
   
   1. Reading
   
   
   2. Writing
   
   
   3. Science
   
   
   4. Math
   
   
   
   


6. Create links to teacher's blog, Mrs. Gorneau's blog, GApps, Typing Pal, Math Connects, FOSS, other sites of interest.


7. Explore widgets


8. Type their first blog


9. Comment on each other’s About and first post


10. Approve Comments
